December President’s Newsletter
Thank you ALL for your outpouring of prayers, kind words and support for my family and myself as we grieve for my loving husband. It means so much to us! So going through this difficult time, I am looking toward the sunshine, like a sunflower, knowing that Ralph is smiling down on us! That thought brings peace and solace to my heart and soul!
I have been honored to be the President of Cobblestone for the past 2 years. It has been exciting and fun watching the membership grow and blossom. I am amazed at the creativity and ingenuity in our Guild. Talent abounds!!!
I want to wish all members the blessing of peace… the beauty of hope…the spirit of love…the comfort of faith…and Happy Holidays!
- IT’S OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY…SUNFLOWER CHRISTMAS TIDES! If you didn’t sign up to bring a finger food, dessert of hot item, please consider bringing one to share.
- Remember that the Guild Sunshine Challenge will be judged by the viewers in December. You will receive your sheet back stating the category and letter of your entry. Also, you will receive a viewer’s choice form…don’t forget to vote for your pick in EACH category!
- We will be initiating the new board at our December meeting. They are: Malena Kee, President…Pam Jeffries, Vice President…Jinny Hoffman, Treasurer…Val Kasch, Secretary. Congratulations to the NEW EXECUTIVE Board for 2025.
- Prizes for completed UFOS and Block of the Month will be awarded.
- Show your Block of the Month blocks to Jeannine for a chance to win the drawing.
- Thanks for submitting quilts for the Coastal Carolina Fair. What a great showing of your artistry!
- Please bring baskets for the Show, if you have any that need a new home. Pat Grafton will be collecting them.
