2025 Tunnel to Tower Project (T2T)
T2T has purchased the Comfort Inn (next to the Cracker Barrel sign at Ashley Phosphate). The
building is being renovated to include 90 apartments, community rooms, laundry rooms,
Therapist office, a clothing “store”, gym, etc. Each apartment will have a kitchenette, desk/table,
double bed with bedspread and bathroom with tub/shower. This will become a “Veterans
Village” providing 90 permanent homes for homeless Veterans.
Cobblestone has been given permission by the T2T Head of Programs, to make and gift quilts
to each of the Veterans for their new home. The size should be 60” wide by 60”- 64” long.
Please, no larger or smaller. Tops only are needed, but if want to donate a completed quilt,
that is also welcome. A red, white and blue color scheme is not required. These quilts are
primarily to help personalize each Veteran’s space and to welcome them home.
Our goal is to complete 100 quilts by November.
