The committee will monitor and maintain various sources of social media and posts to this technology including:

  • Upcoming Guild General Meetings reminder
  • Pictures to include Programs, Guest Speakers, etc.
  • Interesting sewing facts or other tidbits reflecting the modern aesthetic of our Guild.
  • Special Events reminder and/or background regarding the event/presenter and provide links and details regarding the presenter and his/her online presence
  • Post pictures and brief description regarding events with links to our website for additional details/registration/information
  • Moderate posts by Guild members for accuracy and appropriateness. Remove inappropriate posts/remarks/members and advise the Executive Board
  • Respond to requests for Facebook group access for those (members of Guild only) asking to join.
  • Confirm clarifying questions are complete and responses appropriate. Assess and respond to group requests for access in a timely fashion.
  • Work with new incoming chair to insure easy transition
  • Communicate with Officers on matters concerning the Guild as needed.
  • Work/communicate with members to maintain a positive Guild experience.
