Coastal Carolina Fair
Coastal Carolina Fair 2024
The Fair will open Thursday 31 October and end Sunday November 10, 2024. Senior
Day will be Wednesday 6 November.
The Quilt exhibit in the Arts and Crafts Building is one of the best venues Cobblestone
has to showcase quilting and our Guild to hundreds, if not thousands of people. It is also
an easy way to exhibit your quilt(s). To enter a quilt, it must have been completed since
the 2023 Fair. It does not require a sleeve. Quilt intake will be Saturday and Sunday
October 19 th and 20 th . Registration Forms will be available on the Coastal Carolina Fair
website and I will have hard copies at the September and October meetings.
Cobblestone will have a booth at the Arts and Crafts Building. Volunteer sign up will be
available at the August and September meetings. Shifts are 4 hours at the booth, but
your volunteer tickets allow you to (1) park in the closest lot and (2) allow you to see the
rest of the Fair. So mark your calendars for days you can volunteer!

Coastal Carolina Fair
A program that allows quilters in the tri-county area to display their quilting talents for the Community. The fair is held once a year at the Exchange Park in Ladson, SC. All quilters are encouraged to submit their works of art for judging and display.
Committee shall:
- Coordinate with Coastal Carolina Fair to promote the Guild through exhibits, prizes, brochures, membership information, donations, etc.
- Solicit members to volunteer for this multi-day event.
- Solicit quilts from Guild Members to promote participation in event for judging/display
- Transfer committee information and work with new incoming chair.
- Communicate with Officers on matters concerning the Guild as needed.
- Work/communicate with members to maintain a positive Guild experience.
