Quilters Day Out – May 14, 2022

Taking The Terror Out of Triangles!!

Learn to make foolproof Half Square Triangles and variations.  Karen will show you all the new gadgets but also teach her tried and true method of starting with squares and just using a square ruler to trim to size.  So you can easily make any size triangles you need without having to purchase special tools.

What you need to bring:  your sewing machine and all necessary items to make it sew! (power cord, foot pedal, etc).  A quarter inch foot or the ability to move your needle to achieve the quarter inch. Karen can show you how.  Neutral piecing thread.  A square ruler – no smaller than 4 1/2 inches – no larger than 6 1/2 inches for the size we will be making.  Rotary cutter and mat.  Iron and pressing surface.

We have power stations but you might need an extension cord.

Quilters Day Out – May 14 12:30 until 3:30 at the church after the monthly Saturday morning Guild meeting.
